Aow Hin Wong on Koh Tao, Thailand is a sheltered bay on the island’s northeast coast known among freedivers, snorkelers, and divers for rocky underwater terrain, coral bommies, and a mix of reef fish. The bay’s relatively calm waters and varied depths make it accessible for surface freediving and snorkel exploration, with common sightings of parrotfish, fusiliers, rabbitfish, sergeant majors and occasional blacktip reef sharks, rays and sea turtles around the reef edges.
Another highlight is Hin Wong Cave or Tham Saeng . It is a narrow cave area located within Aow Hin Wong, where sunlight enters during the afternoon (around 13:00), illuminating the clear blue seawater and revealing stalactite- and stalagmite-like rock formations inside the cave
